More than 100 Undocumented Immigrants Arrested at Colorado ‘Underground Nightclub,’ According to DEA

In a significant operation, approximately 114 undocumented immigrants were detained at an underground nightclub in Colorado following a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) raid. DEA Special Agent Jonathan Pullen indicated that the raid resulted from a monthslong investigation into the Colorado Springs venue, where patrons were subjected to scrutiny based on active warrants. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi noted that only two arrests were made based on these warrants.

The raid uncovered drugs, weapons, and over a dozen active-duty service members masquerading as patrons or security. Pullen reported that many drugs were discarded upon law enforcement’s arrival, with cocaine among the substances found, although further testing was pending. Military personnel from the Army Criminal Investigation Division participated in the operation.

Pullen described the club, located within a strip mall, as a hub for drug trafficking, prostitution, and violent crimes, underscoring the ongoing investigation with additional operations planned in the vicinity. President Trump shared video footage of the raid on social media, alleging that some detainees were murderers and violent criminals, a claim not substantiated by the DEA.

Bondi mentioned that members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang and the MS-13 gang were among those detained, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to curbing illegal immigration.

The Colorado Rapid Response Network urged the detained individuals’ families to instruct them on their rights, including remaining silent and requesting legal representation. Partygoer Jose Dominguez recounted his experience of being briefly detained and released, highlighting the uncertainty many face in similar situations.
