Father’s Ongoing Search for Missing Son Marks Four-Year Anniversary
BUCKEYE, Ariz. — June 23 marks the somber four-year anniversary of the disappearance of Daniel Robinson, a 24-year-old geologist who went missing while working in the Arizona desert. His father, David Robinson, continues to grapple with the pain of mystery and loss while intensifying efforts to find his son.
Last seen on June 23, 2021, near Buckeye, Daniel has not been located since. His vehicle was discovered crashed three miles from his worksite, but David believes foul play is involved, suggesting that the vehicle was placed there intentionally after Daniel vanished.
Driven by hope and determination, David has led over 50 organized searches across the harsh desert terrain, drawing support from volunteers and even Joseph Petito, father of Gabby Petito. He expresses deep gratitude for those who come to help, stating, “It’s only right I go out and help others as well.”
To further his mission, David launched the website PleaseHelpFindDaniel.com and has initiated a congressional campaign in South Carolina focused on supporting missing persons’ families. Despite ongoing uncertainty, he remains optimistic about finding Daniel alive.
