Man Killed in Downtown Phoenix Shooting
PHOENIX – A shooting near downtown Phoenix on Saturday night has left one man dead. According to Phoenix Police, the incident occurred around 8:05 PM on June 14, near the intersection of 13th Avenue and Monroe Street. Officers arriving at the scene discovered a male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
As of now, authorities have not made any arrests, and the victim’s identity remains undisclosed. In response to the incident, police have secured the area and are conducting an extensive investigation. Officers indicated that the surrounding area would remain closed to the public for a considerable period while they gather evidence and follow leads.
