Arizona Volleyball Welcomes Transfer Britt Carlson for 2025 Roster
TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Volleyball head coach Charita Stubbs has announced the addition of Britt Carlson, a transfer from UCF, to the 2025 roster. Carlson, a talented opposite hitter, is expected to bring valuable experience and size to the team, making her a significant addition.
Having played two seasons at UCF and one at Washington State, Carlson has proven her prowess on the court. Over her two years at UCF, she participated in 39 matches, amassing 244 kills, 61 blocks, and 51 digs, with a standout performance in 2024 where she ranked third on the team in blocks and fourth in kills. She averaged 2.10 kills per set and achieved a career high of 16 kills with an impressive .522 hitting percentage against Florida Atlantic.
Although Carlson did not see any match action during her season at Washington State in 2022, she is eager to contribute to Arizona’s success. Joining her on the roster will be five freshmen: Maya Flemister, Chloe Giehtbrock, Brookelyn Hatton, Renee Jones, and Paige Thies, setting the stage for an exciting 2025 season.
