Carter Bryant Invited to 2025 NBA Draft Green Room
Arizona wing Carter Bryant has received an invite to the prestigious green room for the 2025 NBA Draft, as reported by ESPN’s Jonathan Givony on Tuesday. The 19-year-old standout is projected as a late-lottery pick, ranking ninth on The Athletic’s Top 100 and 14th on ESPN’s latest mock draft.
Bryant’s impressive performance at the NBA Combine has caught the attention of scouts, where he showcased his shooting ability by hitting 23 out of 46 shots in two 3-point drills. Additionally, he recorded a remarkable 39.5-inch vertical leap, ranking as the fourth-best at the event. Standing at 6-foot-6.5 and boasting a substantial wingspan of 6-foot-11.75, Bryant weighs in at 214.8 pounds.
During his freshman year, Bryant gradually integrated himself into Arizona’s rotation, ultimately securing three consecutive starts. His contributions amplified during conference play following the injury of 7-foot-2 teammate Motiejus Krivas. Over the course of his final 26 games, he averaged 7.4 points, shooting 40.5% from beyond the arc, along with 4.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks, marking him as the latest one-and-done star for the program.
The first round of the NBA Draft is set for June 25 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, with the second round to follow on June 26. Among the 13 prospects to receive initial green room invites are high-ranking players such as Cooper Flagg from Duke and Dylan Harper from Rutgers. Notably, the only players projected in ESPN’s lottery who did not receive invites were French wing Noa Essengue and South Carolina forward Collin Murray-Boyles.
With 11 more invites yet to be announced, the excitement for the upcoming draft continues to build.
