Two Killed in Shooting on Las Vegas Strip, According to Police


On Sunday night, two people were shot dead on the Las Vegas Strip in an incident that police have labeled as “isolated,” which incited panic among bystanders. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported that the shooting occurred at around 10:40 PM local time, specifically in the 3600 block of Las Vegas Boulevard, just outside the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, clarifying that it did not take place inside the casino.

The identities of the shooter and victims remain unknown, and no arrests have been made. Officers present in the area responded immediately to the gunfire, discovering the two victims on the sidewalk with apparent gunshot wounds. Despite attempts to provide medical aid, both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. A video circulating on social media captured a police officer performing CPR on one of the victims.

Police believe they have identified the suspect, indicating that a previous conflict between the suspect and the victims had occurred via various social media platforms. Additionally, a YouTuber who was livestreaming during the shooting reportedly captured footage of the incident, showing a man opening fire at least seven times with a gun.
