TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Softball has officially welcomed senior right-handed pitcher Jalen Adams from Iowa, marking a significant addition to the team. Head coach Caitlin Lowe expressed enthusiasm about Adams’s transfer, citing her exceptional pitching performance during her time at Iowa.

Adams boasts an impressive career with a 2.26 ERA, 45 wins, and 245 strikeouts across 518.0 innings. Her standout season came in 2025, where she achieved a record of 25-6, accompanied by a 2.18 ERA and 130 strikeouts, making her a key player for the Hawkeyes. She ranked among the top in the Big Ten, finishing second with 20 complete games and leading in multiple categories including innings pitched and solo shutouts. Notably, her 25 victories in 2025 placed her eighth nationwide.

Throughout her tenure at Iowa, Adams consistently demonstrated her prowess on the mound, recording sub-2.60 ERAs each season and being recognized with NFCA All-Midwest and All-Big Ten honors in 2025. Joining Arizona’s incoming recruitment class alongside fresh talents, Adams is poised to bring her wealth of experience to the Wildcats’ bullpen this fall.
