Arizona State Football Secures Commitment from O-Line Prospect Siosaia Lapuaho for 2026 Class
Arizona State University’s football program made headlines recently with the commitment of offensive lineman Siosaia Lapuaho for the 2026 recruiting class. The junior college standout from Sandy, Utah, announced his decision on X, drawing attention to his potential as a key addition to the Sun Devils’ offensive line.
Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 300 pounds, Lapuaho played four games last season for Garden City Community College. His impressive skill set attracted offers from prestigious programs, including Iowa State and Kansas State, as well as Weber State and Liberty, as reported by 247 Sports.
Joining Lapuaho in the 2026 class is fellow offensive lineman Cortavious Tisaby from South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas, who committed last November. Lapuaho becomes the second offensive lineman in a group that now totals 15 commitments, helping Arizona State earn a notable ranking of 16th in recruiting classes according to 247 Sports.
Notably, this commitment aligns with ASU’s strategy of bolstering its offensive line with talents from junior colleges. Two expected starters this fall, Kyle Scott from Riverside Community College and Max Iheanachor from East Los Angeles College, underscore this focus on JUCO prospects. Iheanachor has even been projected as a potential first-round pick for the 2026 NFL Draft.
The addition of Lapuaho reflects the efforts of offensive line coach Saga Tuitele, who has established a "Poly Pipeline" to attract talent from Pacific Islander communities. As ASU progresses through the recruiting cycle, Lapuaho’s commitment offers promise for the team’s future as they build a competitive roster.
