WILLIAMS, Ariz. — A man sustained severe injuries during an incident at a car show in Williams when a vehicle exploded while he was attempting repairs. According to Det. Sanders of the Williams Police Department, the explosion occurred when the man was working on a car that was failing to start, leading to a malfunction that resulted in the explosion.
The explosion was so loud that it was reported to be heard throughout the downtown area. Emergency response teams air-lifted the injured man to a local hospital for medical treatment. He suffered significant injuries to his left forearm and upper arm; however, there is currently no update available on his condition.
