Arizona Wildcats Soar Past Cal Poly in Eugene Regional Finale
EUGENE, Oregon – Aaron Walton delivered an extraordinary performance, hitting three home runs as the Arizona Wildcats defeated Cal Poly 14-0, eliminating the Mustangs from the postseason. This commanding win highlighted Arizona’s offensive power, with a total of six home runs against a weary Cal Poly pitching staff, who had just endured two grueling elimination games, including an 11-inning battle against Utah Valley.
