Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Deaths of Arcadia High School Students as Possible Homicide
Mount Ord, AZ — The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths of two local teenagers, Pandora Kjolsrud, 18, and Evan Clark, 17, as a potential homicide after their bodies were found Tuesday morning in a remote area of Mount Ord, located in the Tonto National Forest. The teens, both students at Arcadia High School, were discovered shot dead, prompting authorities to launch a detailed investigation.
Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez stated that the circumstances surrounding the deaths are currently being treated as suspicious. The Sheriff’s Office is collaborating with other law enforcement agencies and has requested that the public exercise patience as the investigation unfolds. They urge anyone with information regarding the victims or who was in the area over Memorial Day weekend to contact them anonymously at 602-876-TIPS.
Kjolsrud’s family expressed their heartbreak, describing her as a "bright light" who had an extraordinary ability to connect with others. Arcadia High School is offering psychological support for students during this challenging time. No suspect information is available as investigators continue to seek justice for the victims and their families.
