Arizona Wildcats Track and Field Team Advances to NCAA Championships
College Station, Texas – The Arizona Wildcats women’s track and field team has successfully qualified five additional athletes for the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, bringing the total to 16 participants—seven women and nine men. The championships are scheduled for June 11-14 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
During the final day of the West First Round, Jade Brown made headlines by posting an impressive 11.07 seconds in the 100 meters, the second-fastest time in program history. The 4x400m relay team, consisting of Ava Simms, Keilee Hall, Camila Aguilar-Perez, and Antonia Sanchez Nunez, also shined, achieving a team-best of 3:32.56 and qualifying with the sixth-fastest time in program history.
Other notable qualifiers for the women’s team include Jenica Bosko in long jump and Tapenisa Havea in shot put. On the men’s side, Zach Landa excelled in shot put with a first-place finish, and Jesse Avina impressed in javelin.
