Arizona Softball’s Devyn Netz Receives Rawlings Gold Glove Award
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Arizona Softball star Devyn Netz has been honored with the prestigious Rawlings Gold Glove Award, as announced by the NFCA on Wednesday. Additionally, Netz made history by being named a second-team NFCA All-American for the first time in her career.
The Big 12 Player of the Year showcased exceptional skills as a pitcher, achieving a perfect fielding percentage with no errors in 29 chances. Throughout the regular season, she executed 25 assists and had four putouts across 31 appearances. Splitting her time between pitching and first base, Netz concluded the season with an impressive 1.000 fielding percentage in 209 chances, recording 178 putouts and 31 assists.
Netz marks Arizona Softball’s third consecutive Gold Glove winner, joining Dakota Kennedy (2024) and Allie Skaggs (2023). This distinguished group also includes Chelsea Goodacre, a professional player who won the award in 2017. Notably, Arizona ties with Florida for the most collegiate Gold Glove winners since the award’s inception in 2022.
