Realfiction Showcases Innovative 3D Display Technology at Display Week 2025
San Jose, California – Realfiction Holding AB is thrilled to announce its participation in Display Week 2025, where it will showcase groundbreaking demonstrations of its Directional Pixel Technology (DPT). The event features a collaborative exhibit with PlayNitride, spotlighting a state-of-the-art 9-inch MicroLED-based 3D display.
This advanced display, previously unveiled at Touch Taiwan, integrates PlayNitride’s MicroLED expertise with Realfiction’s cutting-edge Spatial Light Modulator (SLM). Designed to deliver immersive, glasses-free 3D experiences, the display achieves exceptional depth rendering—1.5 to 2 times the size of the screen—while adhering to standardized manufacturing principles.

In addition to the PlayNitride display, Realfiction will host its own booth featuring two 3D demonstrations that utilize DLP projection technology alongside its proprietary SLM and advanced rendering algorithms. These demonstrations will highlight enhanced 3D effects in larger dimensions and higher resolutions, emphasizing the agnostic nature of Realfiction’s SLM across various image generation technologies.
Moreover, Realfiction plans to unveil a mixed-reality demonstration showcasing potential LED wall applications. These presentations will highlight the versatile capabilities of the DPT platform, enabling immersive experiences in glasses-free 3D and multi-view with forced perspective—a direct response to the needs of markets in which Realfiction is already engaged.
