In a dramatic rescue, a tree trimmer fell critically injured while working atop a 50-foot palm tree in Phoenix. Firefighters employed drones, ropes, and chainsaws to reach the worker, who was subsequently transported to a local hospital.
Meanwhile, the Bryce Fire in eastern Arizona has prompted concerns of potential evacuations as it continues to grow. As of Sunday, the fire spanned 2,290 acres but was reported at 25% containment. Authorities attribute the fire’s spread to improved mapping accuracy rather than drastic growth.
