Suspected MS-13 Member’s Violent Past Exposed in Protective Order Case
A protective order case against Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a 29-year-old deported Salvadoran illegal immigrant and suspected MS-13 gang member, reveals troubling details about his violent history. Abrego Garcia, previously residing in Maryland, was deported to a high-security facility in El Salvador during the Trump administration. Despite claims from some Democrats, including Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen, asserting his innocence, evidence suggests otherwise.
Court documents reviewed by Fox News Digital indicate that Abrego Garcia’s wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, filed a protective order citing repeated acts of verbal and physical abuse, including kicking, slapping, and mental injury to their children. The petition details specific incidents of violence, including physical confrontations where he allegedly dragged her from a vehicle and damaged property in their home.
Coinciding with his abusive history, Abrego Garcia has been identified by local police as an MS-13 gang member, further complicating efforts for his return to the U.S. Following the Supreme Court’s decision mandating his release from El Salvador custody, the Trump administration indicated the onus of return lies with El Salvador. Democrats have expressed frustration, with some traveling to El Salvador to advocate for his case despite mounting evidence against him.
In addition to domestic violence allegations, Abrego Garcia has a concerning background involving human trafficking. In a previous incident, he was stopped by law enforcement while transporting multiple illegal immigrants.
As this situation unfolds, the implications of Abrego Garcia’s potential return to the U.S. remain contentious, drawing attention to broader immigration law challenges and public safety concerns.
