Press Release: Four-Star Wide Receiver Nalin Scott Commits to Arizona State Football
Tempe, AZ – Arizona State University celebrated a significant recruitment milestone on Monday as four-star wide receiver Nalin Scott announced his commitment to the Sun Devils’ football program following a memorable visit to Tempe during Friday night’s Fan Fest.
Ranked No. 311 overall and No. 49 among wide receivers in the class of 2026, Scott hails from Powder Springs McEachern High in Georgia. Standing at 6 feet 3 inches, he demonstrated impressive skills during his junior season, leading his team with 541 receiving yards and recording two touchdowns on 29 receptions across nine games.
With Scott’s commitment, Arizona State now boasts its second-highest-rated recruit, trailing only quarterback Jake Fette, who is ranked No. 115. Scott’s arrival also enriches a growing receiver class that already includes Cooper Reid, ranked No. 680. Notably, Scott was joined at the Fan Fest by Fette and Reid, as well as uncommitted four-star receiver Kaydon Finley, ranked No. 109.
Scott’s decision propelled Arizona State’s 2026 recruiting class from No. 16 to No. 13 nationally, further solidifying the program’s upward trajectory. This announcement came just a day after running back Cardae Mack, ranked No. 416, also committed to the Sun Devils.
Adding a layer of excitement to the event, head coach Kenny Dillingham concluded the Fan Fest with a humorous 100-yard bear crawl, a playful consequence of a bet with Scott. After the talented receiver clocked a 10.98 in his 100-meter dash, Dillingham humorously fulfilled his end of the wager, leaving fans entertained and solidifying a joyful atmosphere around the program.
Arizona State’s football team continues to build momentum as it prepares for the upcoming season.
