Arizona Cardinals Make Moves in Undrafted Free Agency Following 2025 NFL Draft
Phoenix, AZ—Following a busy 2025 NFL Draft during which the Arizona Cardinals selected seven players, the team promptly turned its focus to bolstering its roster through undrafted free agency. By Monday, the Cardinals had secured six promising additions.
Leading the new signings is Ohio State offensive tackle Josh Fryar. At 6-foot-5 and 320 pounds, Fryar played primarily on the right side of the line during his four seasons with the Buckeyes, logging 1,956 snaps and earning honorable mention All-Big Ten honors after starting all 16 games in 2025. The Cardinals’ general manager highlighted a clear connection with Ohio State, having previously drafted linebacker Cody Simon and cornerback Denzel Burke from the program.
Next, Arizona signed UConn’s 6-foot-7 offensive tackle Valentin Senn. He brings 41 career games and 38 starts at left tackle to the Cardinals, alongside a $40,000 signing bonus and a guaranteed base salary of $234,000. Senn is the second Austrian to join the team, following tight end Bernhard Seikovits.
The Cardinals also welcomed UTSA tight end Oscar Cardenas, who recorded 92 catches for 1,092 yards and nine touchdowns across four seasons. His senior year was affected by a knee injury, but he was still named Second Team All-Conference USA.
Defensively, Tennessee DT Elijah Simmons adds strength to the roster after playing in 55 games over six years with the Volunteers. With 59 tackles and experience as a rotational one-technique, he is expected to fortify Arizona’s defensive line.
Lastly, Wisconsin WR Bryson Green enhances the receiving corps after accumulating 49 receptions and four touchdowns in two seasons with the Badgers. His NFL size and capabilities, while requiring refinement, have drawn attention as a “priority free agent.”
