The Arizona Diamondbacks have made several roster moves, placing pitcher A.J. Puk on the injured list with left elbow inflammation and optioning Joe Mantiply and Bryce Jarvis to Triple-A Reno. Puk had a strong season with four saves and a 3.38 ERA before being sidelined. Mantiply and Jarvis struggled in a recent game against the Cubs, with Mantiply posting a 15.95 ERA and Jarvis having a 7.36 ERA. Jameson returns after missing the 2024 season due to Tommy John surgery.
Morillo, signed in the offseason, has impressed with a 1.42 ERA in Reno. Feyereisen, with a 2.95 ERA in his major league career, has a 0.96 ERA in Triple-A this season.
