A fatal crash on westbound Interstate 10 near Avondale Boulevard has caused a major traffic blockage for drivers heading out of the Phoenix area. The Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed that one person was killed in the three-vehicle crash that occurred around 6:30 a.m. The interchange from southbound Loop 101 to westbound I-10, as well as westbound I-10 starting around Avondale Boulevard, are both closed. Additionally, the on-ramp at 107th Avenue is also closed. There is currently no estimated time for the freeway to reopen. Arizona’s Family is at the scene gathering more information.
