Vice President Kamala Harris recently released a summary of her medical records from her White House physician, who described her as a healthy 59-year-old woman with seasonal allergies and urticaria. The physician noted that she manages her allergies with over-the-counter medications and has been undergoing treatment for urticaria for the past three years without experiencing severe symptoms. Harris follows a healthy diet, exercises regularly, drinks moderately, and does not use tobacco. The physician concluded that she is physically and mentally fit to carry out the duties of the presidency. While presidential candidates typically share their medical records, this is the first time Harris has made hers public. Former President Donald Trump, on the other hand, has yet to release his medical records, with his most recent report in 2023 stating he was in excellent health without specifics. Harris, seeking to shift focus from Biden’s age during his re-election campaign, is now using Trump’s age against him in her own re-election bid. An ad released by Harris highlights concerns about Trump’s age and capability to serve as president, showing clips of him appearing to struggle with his speech and referencing comments about his performance.
